Erasmus+ student mobility for studies

  

Through the Key Action 1 of the Erasmus+ Programme both undergraduate and postgraduate students, coming from any of our many Partner Universities, can apply to carry out part of their study at the University of Basilicata. The study period can last from a minimum of 3 months (or 1 academic term or trimester) to a maximum of 12 months and must be part of the student's study programme to complete a degree.
Student can benefit of an exchange abroad with Erasmus+ multiple times, either as a student or as a trainee, but the total time abroad (study abroad periods included) may not exceed 12 months within one cycle of study (Bachelor or equivalent, Master or equivalent and Doctoral or equivalent) or 24 months for students registered to "one-cycle" courses.

                       

                 

Erasmus+ student mobility for traineeships

  

Through the Key Action 1 of the Erasmus+ Programme both undergraduate and postgraduate students, coming from a higher education institution holding an Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education, can apply to carry out a traineeship period, from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 12 months, at the University of Basilicata. These opportunities is also given to recent graduate.
Student can benefit from an exchange abroad with Erasmus+ multiple times, either as a student or as a trainee, but the total time abroad (study abroad periods included) may not exceed 12 months within one cycle of study (Bachelor or equivalent, Master or equivalent and Doctoral or equivalent) or 24 months for students registered to "one-cycle" courses.

 

                       

                 

Erasmus+ international credit mobility - KA107

 

Through the Key Action 107 of the Erasmus+ Programme, students enrolled in first, second and third cycle courses can spend a period abroad for study (from 3 to 12 months) or training (from 2 to 12 months) at universities in other continents, outside EU countries, in compliance with the objectives and modalities established in each individual mobility project, implemented in line with the internationalisation strategy. The aim of the action is to send and receive students, PhD students, teaching and administrative staff, increasing the attractiveness of the University, widening the offer of destinations to countries in the rest of the world, allowing the acquisition of credits recognized upon return to the University, new professional skills and best practices, as well as improving language skills and deepening new contexts and cultures. The programme provides different financial contributions depending on the country of destination to partly cover the costs of stay abroad.

                       

 

Visiting students or Free movers

  

The University of Basilicata encourages international students' involvement by assigning them the status of Visiting Students or Free movers. This status may be granted to the students enrolled in a degree programme at a foreign university who wish to spend a study or research period at the University of Basilicata but outside an exchange programme organized by the university (such as Erasmus). 

                       

                 

Double/Multiple Degree Programme

  

The double degree programme offers students belonging to partner Institutions involved in the double degree agreements the possibility to spend a semester or a full year at the University of Basilicata, acquiring knowledge skills and specializing in their field of interest attending part of their study programme. Students must be selected by their home institution.

The University of Basilicata is strongly engaged in internationalisation, establishing long-standing relationships around the world, not only in Europe but also in North and South America, Asia and in the Middle East, Africa and so on. The main goal is to encourage and enhance international exchange of students, teaching and administrative staff, as well as to promote and foster didactic and research.
