Dottorato di ricerca (Doctoral Degrees)

It aims at training students for very advanced scientific research; they adopt innovative teaching methodologies, updated technologies, training periods abroad and supervised activities in specialized research centres. For admission to a PhD level programme, you have to hold a 2nd cycle degree (master-level covering 90-120 credits), or a comparable foreign degree awarded by an accredited foreign university or university-level Higher Education institution and have good competence in Italian.

Admission to 3rd cycle degree programmes is always subject to the passing of a public competition (Concorso) organised by the University.
